Werrimull Football Netball Club is a part of the Millewa Football Netball League which is situated in and around Mildura in the Northwestern corner of Victoria. We have been part of the league since 1925 and celebrated 100 years in 2025 with centenary jumpers being produced, worn and then auctioned off.
We are an all-inclusive club supporting all genders and nationalities, along with being a Child Safe Accredited club and Good Sports club. We are also working on our Womens and Girls Charter.
We currently have the following sporting teams participating:
- Mens AFL football team
- Women’s AFL football team
- Women’s Netball team (3 adults and 2 junior grades)
We have a training base at the Aero Ovals complex (John Hall Oval) on 11th Street, Mildura. A facility that we share with Mildura West Cricket Club. This base is where our 2 football teams train each and every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5.30pm. Our netballer’s train at Mansell Reserve (corner Ontario Avenue and 8th Street, Mildura).
The Aero ovals complex is where we have our Thursday night club dinners, majority of our fundraising and family/club events. We typically do not play official games at this venue.
Our home oval is situated at Lake Cullulleraine where we have approximately 8 games a year.
